The Creek Church was founded in 1861 as Hawk Creek Baptist Church. For 144 years the church existed as a small community church, serving those living in and near the Hawk Creek area of Laurel County, Kentucky. 45 people were attending weekly in 2005 when God began a new work through our Lead Pastor, Trevor Barton. Today, over 1,500 people attend our campuses weekly and over 1,100 people have been baptized since 2005.
