New Vista Oakwood is an Intermediate Care Facility supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  The facility opened in 1972 and is located in scenic Somerset, Kentucky, which is nestled between Lake Cumberland and the Daniel BooneNational Forest.  Our goal is to assist people to develop skills and interests that will help them to reach personal goals and live meaningful, balanced lives.  We offer services that focus on wellness, community living, work, and leisure in a safe environment. We provide employment opportunities on and off-campus.
