New Vista Behavioral Healthcare is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding options for Kentuckians with brain injuries, providing supported residential housing, post-acute rehabilitation and neurobehavioral rehabilitation.

Recovery is a personal process and may take months or a lifetime. Brain injury can happen to anyone. Whether the injury is a result of a fall, vehicle crash, medication overdose or other trauma or illness. We understand that just as no two people are alike, everyone with a brain injury and every person’s response to brain injury is different.

Whether a brain injury is mild or severe, it can affect many basic functions and make it difficult to perform daily tasks. When a person has a brain injury, they may have trouble communicating, remembering, swallowing and moving around safely. New Vista focuses on increasing independence and quality of life for individuals with brain injuries by providing services in a real-life, home-like setting.

Our staff have decades of experience providing integrated, customized rehabilitation programs for individuals with brain injury. We tailor treatment plans to meet each client’s unique physical, emotional and cognitive limitations.
